Transcriptionists in the news

Update: Jun 26th, 2012

In almost every American neighborhood there is at least one home office being used by a medical transcriptionist.  Because the majority of us work from home and have somewhat flexile schedules many MT’s are involved in community events and local concerns.  This page is dedicated to notable medical transcriptionists.

The Occupy Wall Street protest began in New York on September 17th and has been duplicated in other metropolitan cities.  At a protest in our nation’s capitol medical transcriptionist Tina Strobel was there to be heard.  Tina packed up her husband and son for an 1100-mile journey from her home state of Kansas to be part of the protest.  Way to go Tina.

Kudos to medical transcriptionist Celeste Jenkins who shares her love for cooking in her “cooking creations” blog.

This new isn’t as easy to come by as I thought it would be.  Any nominations for notable transcriptionists?

Thanks goodness for MT’s like Donan Forde!  He isn’t afraid to say it like it is.  In a recent article the 14-year transcriptionist from Vancouver predicts that patients will pay in teh long run for outsourcing transcription.
